The following resources can offer guidance, referrals and support for abortions on Martha’s Vineyard.
Reproductive Equity Now has compiled a comprehensive list of Abortion Care providers in Massachusetts, as well as fake women’s health clinics that masquerade as legitimate reproductive healthcare providers offering the full spectrum of reproductive health care options but which will not provide abortion care.
Funded for several years by Friends of Family Planning, continued by MV Swell and our Donors.
Financial assistance from this fund, up to $1,000, is available to any person to assist with the financial costs associated with obtaining an abortion, either medical or surgical.

An unplanned pregnancy can be one of the most difficult things a woman may face. All our family planning programs offer pregnancy testing and info to help you make a decision about your options. Our trained counselors provide objective info to support you and the decision you make. Talking with people you think will be supportive of you may be helpful, such as family members, sexual partner, friends, counselors, and other professionals. Whatever decision you make, the choice should be yours.
You can get a medication abortion (also known as abortion pills) at any of our clinic locations for pregnancies up to 10 weeks and 6 days. Our caring staff provide safe abortion care and non-judgmental support throughout the process.
